We're all longing for a world we've never known,
to finally be in a place without tears and pain and sin and death.
"Our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ." Philippians 3:20
HOW MANY TEARS?
It's a beautiful night
The brilliant stars light the heavens
I should be feeling alright
But I'm still left with this question:
How many tears must fall down
To the ground, now all around?
How many hearts must be broken?
How many oceans of pain
Must still remain like pouring rain?
How many tears must fall down?
So what's this fighting all worth?
Tales of striving and thunder
When will we hear: "Peace on earth?"
Sometimes I wonder...
