Language falls apart when we try to describe heaven, stretching and

grasping to express its wonders.  The Bible uses words like Zion, the

holy mountains, and Jerusalem (though historical places in themselves)

as ways of pointing to the future home of all believers.

The Psalms were written a thousand years before the Book of Revelation

But both these passages look ahead to the indescribable joy and

celebration of the city of God.  In the New Jerusalem we will forever be

    with the Lord.

God will wipe away every tear from our eyes and there will be no more     death, crying, mourning or pain.  Can you hardly wait?

We'll end with some of the very last words of the entire Bible:

Let the one who is thirsty come

and take the water of life without cost.

He who testifies to these things says,

    "Surely I am coming soon."

    Amen. Come Lord Jesus!
